Airtel link zone CE0560

The LTE modem in the Alcatel LinkZone MW40V supports category 4, ie speeds of up to 150 MBit/s in the downlink and up to 50 Mbps in the uplink. All network operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have already equipped their networks for LTE Cat4, with a suitable tariff, the 150 MBit/s should be possible in real applications. Of course, the Alcatel MW40V is also downwards compatible with UMTS (3G) and GSM (2G), in the UMTS network up to 42.2 Mbps downlink and up to 5.76 Mbps uplink. According to manufacturer TCL Mobile, all currently relevant frequency ranges are supported for Europe:

* 4G/LTE: 800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 Megahertz

* 3G/UMTS: 900, 2100 Megahertz

* 2G/GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 Megahertz

WLAN and battery

The battery of the Alcatel LinkZone MW40V is 1800 mAh large and can easily be exchanged by the user. The MW40V works exclusively in the frequency range around 2.4 GHz and also supports only the standards 802.11b/g and n, the more modern 802.11ac standard as well as the 5 GHz frequency band is not supported in this hotspot. For the vast majority of users, this should be fine, but in some situations such as at trade fairs or major events, the 2.4 GHz band might have problems.
